I’d first of all like to thank you for visiting my website. My name is Mayowa Balogun. I am a Pan African, first and foremost. I’m also a Property Developer and Investor, a Recycler, Sports & Music Business Executive & a Freelance Writer.
I am the founder of BEAM Group, An international conglomerate with interests in Entertainment, Consulting, Real Estate, Logistics, and Financial Services which I founded in 2013. We have a presence in Nigeria, Canada, and the United States with plans to expand to the UK, Asia and the rest of Europe.
I am also director at a host of companies such as Loritem Incorporated (Property Investment/Development), Loritem Recycle (Plastic Recycle in like with SDGs), Loryb & DP Ventures (Agro-Processing and Supply), Amsquare Global (Diversified Interests) and many more.
As a Music Industry Exec, I’ve worked with Lady Donli, Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Teni, Eddy Kenzo, AKA and pretty much any African artist you can think of in different capacities ranging from full scale management to concert & tour promotion. I currently work with LasGiiDi, Olu (who was nominated for the Headies Award in 2020 and an AFRIMA Award in 2021, both for her single “God Save the Queen.”). I also work extensively with Jess ETA, Layzee Ella and a lot of other upcoming artists.
I’ve also contributed as a writer for Pulse; one of Nigeria’s biggest entertainment and lifestyle websites, Okay Africa and a few more. In the past, I was a full time blogger and music editor for NotJustOk, the biggest music blog in Nigeria. I was part of the family for 3 years until I eventually moved on, amicably of course. I’m currently a Sports Contributor for The People’s Gazette, one of Nigeria’s most foremost newspapers.
Currently, I shuffle between living in Canada, Nigeria & the United States. (I travel A LOT!!)
